Welcome to the Greater Baltimore Dental Hygienists’ Association’s website!

We're pleased to have you as a visitor.

The Greater Baltimore Dental Hygienists’ Association is a component of the Maryland Dental Hygienists’ Association and its parent association, the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. GBDHA serves hygienists primarily of the Baltimore area, including Baltimore City, and Baltimore and Carroll Counties. Members of the GBDHA gather for our monthly meetings and Continuing Education courses, September through April on Thursdays at the Beth Israel Synagogue in Owings Mills, Maryland.

In 2008, we thought that, as a component, we needed have an attractive and professional website. Our goal was to have our website serve several purposes: as the most accurate and up-to-date source for all GBDHA information and events . . . as an avenue for Baltimore-area hygienists to communicate with one another, using the message board to post events and advise other hygienists of opportunities . . . and finally, to review the newsletter and register for our CE courses. We wanted a modern, effective and efficient mode of communication to inform current and potential members of component updates and announcements.

We believe our website does all of that, in a welcoming, informative and interactive manner.

Feel free to browse the website, and even post a comment on the message board if you wish.

We appreciate your curiosity and interest in our group, and hope to see you at one of our continuing education meetings or GBDHA sponsored events.

GBDHA follows the Baltimore County School System. In the event Baltimore County Schools are closed, the scheduled course is cancelled. Every effort will be made to reschedule the course in a timely fashion.
